Tom Byrne Engineering specialise in the sand blasting service. We work with all types of clients, from private homeowners, to commercial and industrial clients. We use state of the art equipment and all our staff are highly experienced. Our team work to restore and clean many types of buildings, from old protected buildings – to those who have simply become dirty over time. We work all across Wexford and the south east.
Sand Blasting
Sand Blasting is the process of cleaning old buildings, sculptures, headstones, and much more. We clean both on and off site. Our system is designed not to cause any damage during the cleaning process. Sand Blasting involves blasting abrasive materials blasted by an air compressor, onto a surface. There are different settings – depending on how brittle the item / building is and of course how much cleaning is required. This blasting removes the dirty layer on top = revealing the like new surface underneath.
Shot Blasting
Shot blasting is used to clean metal. It can bring metal surfaces back to their former state – helping to remove layers of rust and built up grime. It can be used on many types of steel across a range of applications.
